Job Description:
Position: AV Technician We are seeking a skilled and
detail-oriented Audio Video (AV) Technician with hands-on
experience in Crestron systems and conference room technology. This
role will report to the Director of IT Service Management. The
ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring,
troubleshooting, and maintaining AV systems in corporate conference
rooms and meeting spaces. This role requires strong technical
knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to
work independently or as part of a team. This position is located
on site in Brentwood, TN. Travel will be required between Tennessee
and Arizona. Occasional after-hours support for executive meetings
or special events will also be expected. Responsibilities Install,
configure, and support AV systems including displays, projectors,
microphones, speakers, DSPs, and control systems. Program,
commission, and troubleshoot Crestron control systems (touch
panels, processors, room scheduling panels, etc.) Provide
day-to-day support for conference rooms and executive meeting
spaces. Diagnose and resolve AV, control system, and connectivity
issues (audio, video, control, network). Plan and perform firmware
updates and system upgrades on Crestron and related AV equipment.
Conduct routine preventative maintenance and system testing.
Coordinate and support Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other video
conferencing platforms. Provide end-user training and technical
support during live meetings or events. Maintain documentation
including system diagrams, SOPs, configurations, and service logs.
Collaborate with IT, facilities, and external vendors on AV
projects. Ensure all installations meet company standards and
safety guidelines. Coordinate with C-Suite Executive Assistants for
planned events. Position Requirements Minimum of two (2) years of
experience as an AV Technician in corporate or enterprise
environments Hands-on experience with Crestron systems
(programming, configuration, troubleshooting). Experience
supporting conference rooms and video conferencing systems.
Understanding of AV signal flow and control systems. Knowledge of
audio systems, microphones, DSPs, amplifiers, and display
technologies. Familiarity with networking fundamentals (IP
addressing, PoE, VLANs preferred). Experience with Zoom Rooms,
Microsoft Teams Rooms, or similar platforms Ability to read and
interpret AV schematics and wiring diagrams. Troubleshooting and
problem-solving skills. Communication and customer service skills
and white glove support. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; climb
ladders and work in ceilings or tight spaces; and to sit, stand,
and walk for extended periods of time Crestron Certified Programmer
(or working toward certification) preferred. Experience with other
control systems (Extron, AMX, QSC, etc.) preferred. Basic
rack-building and cable termination experience preferred.
Experience with room scheduling systems and digital signage
preferred. Minimum of one (1) year of basic networking experience
