Job Description:
At Williamson Health and Wellness Center, located in the heart
of Williamson, WV, we are seeking a dedicated Equipment Technician
to join our dynamic team. Our center prides itself on delivering
top-notch care and innovative wellness programs uniquely tailored
to address local community health needs. The successful candidate
will be responsible for maintaining and repairing medical equipment
to ensure optimal functioning and safety. This role is vital in
supporting our medical staff by ensuring that all healthcare
devices are operational, safe, and well-maintained. Perform routine
checks and maintenance of medical equipment. Diagnose and repair
malfunctioning medical devices. Install new healthcare equipment
and ensure it is functioning correctly. Train medical staff on the
proper use of equipment. Keep detailed records of equipment
performance and maintenance. Stay updated on new technology and
ways to improve equipment efficiency. Strong technical skills in
equipment repair and maintenance. Proficiency in using diagnostic
tools and software for medical equipment. Ability to read and
understand technical manuals and schematics. Excellent
problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication and
training skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET)
preferred. Any relevant state licensure as required.
