Job Description:

The Senior Director, Regulatory Digital Strategy is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with Regulatory business needs. This role involves partnering with senior Regulatory leaders, collaborating with internal teams (IT, Regulatory Systems, Process Excellence, Change Management, Finance), and external partners to ensure the success of digital initiatives covering people, processes, and technology. The role also requires working closely with Regulatory data teams across R&D, IT, and enterprise levels, mentoring a team of digital product owners, and ensuring proper governance through collaboration with the Regulatory Technology Governance Council (RTGC) and Regulatory Management Board (RMB). The candidate will lead the evolution of digital portfolio management capabilities and ensure continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will possess strong Regulatory and leadership skills, with extensive success in digital areas such as AI, data strategies, and product ownership.

Accountabilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a digital strategy supporting Regulatory goals and organizational alignment.
  
• Digital Transformation: Partner with initiative sponsors to leverage technology, people, and process improvements for efficiency and value.
  
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external partners to meet regulatory requirements and industry expectations.
  
• Innovation: Implement innovative digital solutions addressing business priorities.
  
• Team Management: Lead and mentor digital professionals, fostering continuous improvement and professional growth.
  
• Data Analytics: Use analytics to measure strategy effectiveness and inform decisions.
  
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all digital initiatives meet regulatory standards.
  
• Governance: Lead digital governance and portfolio capabilities to safeguard business value.
  
• Digital Expertise: Stay current with digital trends in Pharma and relevant industries.
  
• Fiscal Management: Oversee financial aspects of the digital team and portfolio.
  
• Lifecycle Management: Work with Regulatory Systems to manage product owner transitions.
  
  Essential Skills/Experience:
  
  
• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field.
  
• At least 10 years in digital strategy or transformation.
  
• Minimum 5 years in leadership within a regulated environment.
  
• Proven ability to lead, influence, and inspire teams.
  
• Strong collaboration skills with regulatory bodies and leadership.
  
• Forward-thinking with a passion for technology-driven change.
  
• Proficient in data-driven decision-making.
  
• Understanding of regulatory compliance standards.
  
  Desirable Skills/Experience:
  
  
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and regulatory landscape.
  
• Advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  
• Program and resource management experience.
