Job Description:

orphanage and has grown into an organization operating across the
Carolinas, Florida Tennessee and Kentucky. Thompson’s continuum of
care encompasses three domains: prevention, mental health services
and foster care. All Thompson programs are trauma-informed and

resilience in our clients (ages 0-18) and their families, both

Commitment, Caring and Integrity. What will you do as a Youth Care
Specialist for our youth residential programs? As a Youth Care
specialist , you will provide supervision, support, guidance, and
build a therapeutic relationship with the youth under your care. A
typical day as a Youth Care Specialist will include engaging with
youth in the program, providing direction, structure and support
for their physical and physiological needs. Scheduling and
participating in activities, ensuring the physical milieus remain
clean and safe, completing daily documentation as required by
regulatory standards and transporting clients as needed for
appointments and activities This position may require travel to
various residential facilities within the Nashville area. As a
Youth Care Specialist, you will work the below rotating schedule:
1st Shift: 7am-7pm or 2nd Shift: 7pm-7am Week 1: Monday, Thursday,
Friday Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday What does this
position offer? (Not available for PT or PRN roles) Starting Pay
Range: $18.50 - $22.00/hourly based on experience Fantastic

Qualifications/Requirements: Must have a valid Driver’s License and
meet any credentialing, licensing and privileging standards as it
pertains to the program High School diploma required. Bachelor’s
degree preferred. A minimum of one year of experience working in a
residential youth or adult operation or related experience working
in the field of child and family services. Proficient in Microsoft
Office Suite application software Must be at least 21 All full-time
employees must work one of the following schedules: 1st shift
