Join Williamson Health and Wellness Center as a Part-Time In-Patient Phlebotomist and be part of a committed team dedicated to community health. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate collection of blood samples from patients to assist with diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring. At Williamson Health, our focus is not only on the care we give but also on educating our patients to foster enduring health improvements. Accurately identify patients and confirm testing orders before sample collection. Perform venipunctures and other blood collection techniques with minimal patient discomfort. Ensure proper labeling, handling, and transportation of all specimens following established protocols and procedures. Maintain phlebotomy equipment and work area in accordance with safety guidelines. Adhere to patient confidentiality and bloodborne pathogen standards at all times. Provide clear instructions to patients during the blood collection process and answer their questions appropriately. Expertise in venipuncture and capillary draws Proficiency in using various types of phlebotomy equipment Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work calmly under pressure Knowledge of medical software for data entry Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) or equivalent Active CPR certification
