About the Role: Glean is seeking a Sales Development Representative
Intern to partner closely with our SDR leaders and Account
Executives to learn how a great pipeline gets built and help engage
new prospects who could be a strong fit for Glean. This role is
designed as an early-career learning experience focused on building
foundational sales skills, supporting pipeline generation, and
contributing to a high-energy team environment while learning the
craft of modern outbound selling. This is a 10-week,
Nashville-based summer internship for current college juniors only
(students graduating in Spring 2027), with two start dates: June 1,
2026 and July 6, 2026. We’ll provide the tools, training,
mentorship, and leadership needed to help interns learn how to
prospect effectively, uncover customer challenges, and communicate
how Glean can help, with long-term potential for future full-time
conversion opportunities after graduation. You will: Learn how to
generate new business pipelines through outbound prospecting.
Partner with Account Executives and SDR leaders to identify and
source net new opportunities. Research accounts, lines of business,
and buyer personas, and identify key decision-makers within target
accounts. Build foundational outbound skills through cold calling,
email outreach, and account research. Support early qualification
conversations and learn how to guide prospects through the first
stage of the evaluation process. Practice attentive listening and
learn how to connect customer challenges to Glean’s value. Work
toward defined activity goals and ramp milestones throughout the
program. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to share feedback on
messaging and campaigns. Participate in intern programming,
enablement sessions, shadowing, and team events. Develop critical
sales skills such as prospecting, discovery, objection handling,
prioritization, time management, and communication. About you: You
are a current college junior at a four-year university and expect
to graduate in Spring 2027. You are able to be based in Nashville
for the full 10-week program. You have a team-centric mindset and
enjoy working in a collaborative environment. You have strong
communication skills and the confidence to engage with new people.
You are organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple
priorities. You are curious, coachable, and motivated to learn. You
are excited by technology and interested in learning how to
articulate value to customers. You want to make an impact and
contribute to a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment. Prior
internship, campus leadership, student organization, or
customer-facing experience is a plus. Exposure to sales, business
development, marketing, fundraising, or competitive team
environments is a plus. Experience communicating persuasively in
writing or live conversations is a plus. Familiarity with
Salesforce, Sales Navigator, or other sales tools is a plus; sales
experience is a plus, but passion for sales is a must. Location:
This role is in-person (5 days a week in our Nashville office)
Compensation & Benefits: This internship pays $21.25 per hour and
includes a one-time $3,000 housing/relocation stipend, which will
