difference. Essential Functions of the Junior Sales Consultant
Engage in meaningful, in-person conversations to understand
community members’ values and connect them with aligned charity
programs. Present impactful stories and urgent needs to inspire
support for youth-focused initiatives. Support senior consultants
in executing targeted outreach at events and public spaces. Build
strong initial relationships with potential donors, volunteers, and
stakeholders to foster long-term support. Clearly explain giving
options tailored to each individual’s philanthropic goals.
Consistently meet or exceed fundraising and awareness targets to
support charity growth. Stay informed on nonprofit trends and
community needs to enhance outreach strategies. Maintain detailed
records of outreach, interactions, and donor data in the CRM
system. Help create and distribute brochures, proposals, and other
outreach materials. Represent Zeal TN and its partners with
integrity, professionalism, and enthusiasm. Education & Experience
Needed for the Junior Sales Consultant High school diploma or GED
required; a bachelor’s in a relevant field is preferred and can
accelerate growth opportunities. 0–2 years’ experience in
customer-facing or team-oriented roles—great for outgoing,
motivated individuals looking to build a mission-driven career.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a natural
ability to connect, empathize, and inspire action. Resilient and
adaptable, with a mindset that embraces feedback and sees
challenges as chances to grow. Self-starter with strong time
management and organizational skills to handle dynamic, on-the-go
work environments. Competitive yet collaborative, driven by purpose
