Louisville Tile of Nashville is seeking a Sales Account Executive with local market knowledge to cultivate relationships with contractors, dealers and builders in the Nashville area. This position is responsible for building relationships within the marketplace that differentiate Louisville Tile by providing a world class and innovative solution-oriented customer experience. This position creates, executes, and tracks a results oriented strategic sales plan that will develop a geographic territory within the contractor, dealer and builder channel. The Sales Account Executive is responsible for identifying candidates within a market, prospecting, profiling, cultivating, and closing new clients. This position is responsible for hitting target metrics in activity, production, product diversification and penetration, customer service, and gross profit. Product knowledge and ability to sell consultatively will is required. The Sales Account Executive is responsible to acquire and exhibit a deep technical knowledge coupled with the highest integrity to create value for our customers.       • Identify qualified prospects
      • Profile prospects to identify need
      • Ability to problem solve and sell consultatively
      • Manage a pipeline to successful closing
      • Proactive tracking of projects from bidding to close
      • Service existing customers
      • Balance between new business development and service of existing customers
      • Work on special initiatives as assigned or needed to meet corporate goals
      • Ability to be decisive and manage a book to highest payoff priorities
      • Work to a plan that is strategic, constantly reviewed and evolving, and hit goal
      • Ability to develop a niche channel and cultivate relationships
      • Be involved with the commercial quoting process
      • Monitoring order register and managing projects with long lead-times
      • Periodic market analysis of competition to create deeper penetration of Contractor market
      • Education to insure that you are the most knowledgeable and highly proficient technically
      • Utilize the CRM and make constant contact to cultivate clients and build brand
      • Work collaboratively with A&D reps and showroom reps in order to service customers and leverage results
      • Follow up on orders, requests and prospects to insure maximum results
      • Work to grow share of spend within the customer base (tile, installation products)
      • Secure negotiated projects with contractors
      • Problem solve when needed with job complaints
