Job Description:
Performs economic research and studies of rates of return,
depreciation and investments. Analyzes profit-and-loss income
statements and prepares reports and recommendations to management.
Generates financial reports and forecasts and analyzes trends in
revenue, losses and expenses. Researches economic progressions to
assist the organization's financial planning. Creates financial
models of "what if" scenarios for future business planning
decisions in areas such as new product development, new marketing
strategies, etc. Compiles and reviews the budgets for corporate
departments, taking into consideration actual performance, previous
expenditures, and estimated expenses and income. Maintains accurate
spending records and establishes measures for budgetary control.
Supports the achievement of corporate financial and growth goals by
providing management in all areas of the company with necessary
financial information and analysis pertaining to our profitability
and key performance measures. Analyzes and maintains financial
operational reporting systems to provide this information. Develops
expense forecasts for all lines of business. Helps to assure that
all corporate decisions are made while considering the associated
financial growth and customer impacts.Compensation Minimum:$68,200

Accountabilities
- Designs and implements processes to assure the proper
allocation of expenses to function, business unit, geographic
market, product line, and coverage.
- Designs, develops, and recommends management reports as
requested including measurements of profitability, growth,
productivity, financial condition, and competitive position.
- Develops a strong understanding of company operations to
improve allocations, and management reports.
- Develops basic level forecasts of expenses, losses, and other
key operational measures to assist with financial analysis and/or
business case development.
- Develops close working relationships with assigned functional
areas and cultivates business partners' trust on financial
matters.
- Develops analyses to assist with cost estimates, cost/benefits,
and budgets.
- Utilizes moderately advanced modeling techniques, and
intermediate data mining and statisticsTravel Requirements

Knowledge and Skills Requirements
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions,
support or service
- Demonstrated experience in financial statement and management
reporting.
- Demonstrated experience performing financial and operational
analysis.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of forecasting techniques,
statistical analysis, data modeling, and data mining.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of insurance accounting and
