IT TechnicianDetails:1-3 month contract with the possibility of converting to a permanent employeeOnsitePosition Summary:Under the supervision of the Manager of Technology Services, the IT Technician will provide technical support to a wide variety of 'end user' technologies such as computers, printers, scanners, and phones.Position Responsibilities:Respond to, research, and resolve user inquiries for Level I support requests in a timely and efficient mannerUpdate help desk tickets including logging, follow-up, and closureEscalate problems to appropriate IT teams based on established guidelines and proceduresTake ownership and follow up on tickets escalated to other groups to ensure resolution and user satisfactionHardware and peripheral support, repair/replacement, and break/fixConfigure and support Apple and Android devicesMaintain knowledge of current product offerings and support policies to provide technically accurate solutions to usersAttend team and department meetings to stay current on projects and updatesParticipate in software and hardware rollouts/upgrades including planning, testing, scheduling, pilot testing, solicitation of user feedbackApplication support, installation, and upgradesAfter-hours emergency support on call (24x7) on a rotational basisDemonstrate a willingness to cover extended hours and overtime on holidays, weekends, or after regular business hours when coverage is neededAsset inventory, reporting, tracking, and updatesWork with relevant vendors and service providersContribution to technology guidelines, policies, and proceduresOther duties as assignedRequirements:2-4 years of IT support experienceCustomer-facing experienceDesk-side support experienceKnowledge of Microsoft Windows OSDemonstrated ability and desire to learn new technologies and skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAccuracy, attention to detail, and good organizational skillsAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentStrong time-management skills and ability to multi-taskStrong client service focus and ability to work effectively in a team environmentSelf-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervisionVarious physical activities may be requiredPDN-993f637d-8328-407a-aaac-e14e5158df0e
