What you'll do on a typical day:

Supervise staff during various inbound, city and/or outbound
freight operations " data-list-defn-props="("> Ensure production
goals are met by managing tonnage, payroll, and other
administrative functions " data-list-defn-props="("> Plan hourly
employee schedules to meet daily operations goals "
data-list-defn-props="("> Enforce all company, FMCSR, OSHA and
DOT policies, rules, regulations, and laws
" data-list-defn-props="("> Coach,
train and develop employees in a manner consistent with company
policies " data-list-defn-props="("> Act as a champion of our
values, demonstrating them and holding your team to the same high
standards What you need to succeed at XPO: At a minimum, you'll
need:

years of related work experience in a warehouse, distribution,
supply chain, transportation or similar environment
" data-list-defn-props="(">
Knowledge of the Less-than-Truckload (LTL) industry, hazardous
materials regulations and DOT rules and regulations "
data-list-defn-props="("> Availability to work a variety of
shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends It'd be
great if you also have:

Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Distribution or Logistics, or
4 years of related work or military experience "
data-list-defn-props="("> 2 years of supervisory experience
" data-list-defn-props="("> LTL
industry experience " data-list-defn-props="("> Positive
attitude with the ability to multitask and motivate your team "
data-list-defn-props="("> Exceptional leadership, communication,
and administrative skills This job requires the ability to:

objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 lbs.
frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally

(including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat
and kneel " data-list-defn-props="("> Walk and stand for
extended periods of time on a loading dock that is not
climate-controlled and may be slippery "
