Job Description:

4 Day work weeks - 40 Hours: Monday-Thursday 10 hour shifts.

For 10 years, JAM Door has provided quality products and services in the commercial door industry. We pride ourselves as the door opening experts. Our company is expanding and we're currently seeking installers to join our Nashville team.

In the Apprentice door installer position you are expected to learn how to install commercial doors and hardware on commercial sites. This position will involve travel to downtown Nashville. Parking is PAID for as we provide parking passes.

Job Responsibilities:
Measures, marks, and arranges materials to established layout based on instructions from supervisors.
Uses various hand and power tools to securely install doors.
Ensures the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels or framing squares; corrects issues as needed.
Adheres to local building and safety codes and guidelines.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Ability to understand directions.
Ability to properly care for and use tools of the trade.
Understanding of carpentry principles and methods.
Works well as part of a team.
