Forklift operator The Material Handler (Forklift Operator) is
responsible for providing support to Production department with
material transfer and production inventory. Tasks and
Responsabilities * **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES***
Provide Production department with all necessary tools needed for
production schedule* Transfer all materials needed both physically
and systematically (Navision)* Empty all trash hoppers into trash
compactor daily * Restock and transfer items into production work
cells as needed* Ability to keep all inventory items neat, labeled
and organized according to 6-S guidelines* Ability to use good time
management skills* Ability to utilize computer software - Navision
for Movements and Kanban; transfer make-to-stock items * Inventory
control measure - Promote inventory accuracy by conducting bin
content checks and cycle counts then report back to Inventory
Control. * Ability to correct any inventory discrepancies or bin
verifications * Must be able to work different shifts as needed and
work in conjunction with Material Handlers on other shifts* Ability
to plan and organize material handling tasks. Ability to create a
list of tasks and prioritize daily* Ability to be detail oriented
when completing tasks* Ability to communicate well all needs to the
Materials department and Inventory Control * Identify damages to
materials and report to the appropriate departments* Support
production department with any tasks or duties as needed* Support
the team lead in scanning and system operations (Navision) as
needed* Abide by all Bath Fitter policies and procedures* Adhere to
all safety policies and procedures* Perform other duties as
