Description: Associated Couriers is one of the nation's fastest growing courier companies that focuses a variety of delivery services ranging from delivering medical specimens, hazardous materials, e-commerce, retail logistics, pharmaceuticals, and final mile consumer products.We are looking to add a Full-Time Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee (37228). This position supports all aspects of the Tennessee market to include clients, contractors, employees, and any physical locations. The Logistics Coordinator will also be responsible for coordinating all aspects of on-time pickups and deliveries across the market as well as making deliveries as needed. The position is based in Nashville, however, day/overnight travel to areas like Memphis, Knoxville and Chattanooga will be required.Pay: $21/hourSchedule: Wednesday-Sunday 9:30am-7:00pmPrimary Responsibilities:Work closely with the Regional Operations Manager and other Associated Couriers' personnel to support the day-to-day (24/7/365) operations of the Tennessee market Support the daily requirements of all relative Associated Couriers' clients and ensure that they are satisfied with Associated Couriers as a transportation/logistics vendor - represent Associated Couriers in a positive fashionSchedule, dispatch, communicate, negotiate, track, and monitor daily courier performance relative to client expectationsReceive and field client calls and take responsive action as deemed necessary under the circumstances to maintain a positive relationship between the Company and the clientDemonstrate and teach contractors how to use dispatching software and how to confirm, pickup and complete route and on-demand stops in accordance with company and client proceduresParticipate in the weekly contractor commissions process to ensure all regional contractors receive timely and accurate settlementsReview daily activity reports and take corrective action to improve results and mitigate risksMonitor and track driver deliveries and service failures; determine appropriate efforts to achieve continuous improvement for customer satisfactionBe available via cell phone and email to all clients, contractors and employees during working hours and after-hours as scheduledTravel periodically to other areas for contractor onboarding, meetings, training, and client developmentMake client pickups and deliveries as neededOther duties as assigned by management What we offer:Weekly payMedical, dental, vision insurance are available to employee on day one401k with matchShort & Long Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance ProgramCompany paid and optional InsuranceFlexible schedule provided performance metrics are metA culture where you have a say in how best to run all aspects of the operationAdvancement opportunities in a fast-growing organizationRequirements:Minimum of 2 years logistics, distribution and/or transportation experience preferredAt least 21 years of ageHas a high school diploma or higherAbility to work out of Nashville, TNAuthorized to work in the United States and will not require work authorization or work sponsorship by our company now or in the futurePossesses a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations or at fault accidents in the last 3 yearsAbility to comprehend the last-mile delivery industry, our capabilities and deliver our value proposition-Should this be in here?A solid working knowledge of and proficiency with all Microsoft products (excel, word, outlook, teams, power-point, etc.)Ability to succeed and thrive in time sensitive situations and maintain positive contractor relationshipsAbility to interact with customers and communicate delivery problems verbally over the phoneOrganized, attentive to detail, accountable, open-minded, coachable, self-starting, solid follow-through, and multi-tasking Associated Couriers is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or other legally protected status. pm21PI201870989
