Unlock your potential!Job Summary and Qualifications
  • As a Central Sterile Technician, you will promote customer service initiatives.
  • You will function in all areas of department pertaining to the processing and sterilization of reusable instruments and supplies.
  • You will understand operation of all washers, ultrasounds, sterilizers and scanners utilized within the department and utilizes all equipment within recommended guidelines. Performs all parameter testing to include chemical and biological as directed.
  • You will demonstrate knowledge of sterilizer testing and recording of results.
  • You will support the facility's Standards of Performance and ICARE values.What qualifications you will need:
    • Central Sterile Tech Certification, or Certified Surgical Tech, is required
    • Graduation from Central Sterile Technician program
    • 1-2 years' experience is preferred
    • Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with others.This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).TriStar Centennial Medical Center is a 740+ bed comprehensive facility.
