IES Residential, one of the nations largest subcontracting electrial companies, is currently seeking an Electrical Estimator/Material Manager. A successful candidate is one willing to work hard and learn. Estimator experience is not required. We will Train!!Responsibilities:Determine the approximate cost of electrical installations for new construction multi-family residential projectsAnalyze blueprints Estimate the amount, type and costs of material needed for the projectEstimate the amount of labor required to complete the projectProvide division manger with report of potential profitability for projectIdentify ways to increase project profitability and avoid material wasteComplete and submit bids in accordance with guidelinesAbility to interpret blueprintsAccubid experience preferredElectrical knowledge and experience preferredMicrosoft Excel, WordWilling to learnStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDetail-orientedExcellent communication skillsMust be able to pass and comply with all safety training, background check and drug testing requirementsWhy Choose Us?Our commitment to our employees is reflected by our actions.
