Job Description:

The Post Production Editor will be responsible post production activities/editing for the Opry Entertainment Group. They will manage the editing process from initial footage transfers, editing, color correction, final audio mix and delivery. Maintain redundant backups of all video projects and elements.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience

3+ years' experience in video editing environment required

Experience with color correction software

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Proficiency with professional digital video equipment and Premiere Pro editing software

Ability to prioritize competing tasks

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Licenses / Certifications

This position requires a pre-employment drug screening.

Set up projects for post-production

Oversee all post production. Establish the look of all content through the artistic and technical decisions made regarding editing, color correction and other creative and technical elements.

Edit the content, including transferring the raw footage into the editing system and organizing the data in a meaningful manner for retrieval purposes.

Render finalized content to proper format for use on the requested platform.

Add final audio mix, including any voiceovers or music selections and finalize meaningful cuts for each piece.

Interface with producers, clients as to their needs, making recommendations as appropriate in order to create the desired final edit.

Maintain knowledge of all professional editing equipment and data management.

Create and maintain file backups of all final edits.

Perform other duties as assigned.
