research.Organization:VUH NT8 MICU/PCUJob Summary:Vanderbilt is
expanding our Adult Hospital with our new 16 story tower! Be part
of our new Medical Pulmonary ICU. Preferred: 2 years of Acute Care
experience/or 1 year of ICU experience.We orient new nurses to our
unit by providing an 8-12-week orientation based on previous
experience and individualized needs.The patient population on this
unit will be adult patients ranging in age from 18 years and older
who are being treated for Acute Respiratory Failure, Acute
Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), Multisystem Organ System
Failure, Sepsis, Drug Overdoses, Gastrointestinal Bleeds, Diabetic
Ketoacidosis, Hypertensive Crisis, Acute/Chronic Renal Failure, and
Liver Failure/Cirrhosis.Nurse Patient Ratio:1:1-2 ICU1:3
Progressive Care$15,000 Signing Bonus! The sign-on bonus is not
applicable to current VUMC staff or former staff who have worked
for VUMC in the past twelvemonths. The sign-on bonus is only
available for full-time positions..Shift: Night shift Our Nursing
