From chefs and servers to bartenders and hosts, we have positions available for every skill set and level of experience.Key Responsibilities:Hospitality- Positive, welcoming, sincere - engage Guests and unique individuals and valued members of our community- Expertly performs the role of Ambassador and Experience Guide- Prioritizes the experience of the Guest over personal motivations/interests- Identifies and executes the hospitality value add opportunitiesProfessionalism- Arrives at the scheduled time in perfect uniform/appearance standard compliance- Focused on performance, productivity and teamwork for the entirety of the shift, start to finish- Avoids unproductive complaining and negative attitude to managers and teammates - a toxic presence- Poise under pressure and pace - Stage Presence- Comprehends, masters, and promotes all team standards and policies as a team leader, and promoter of our missionTeamwork- Demonstrates a team-first mindset, versus a mercenary maverick- Sets up the team for success with strong execution of opening, running, and closing duties- Communicates to leadership and teammates when help/assistance is needed- Seeks to provide help/assistance to teammates (across job functions)- Provides and receives feedback to and from teammates and leadership team in a positive, -professional manner- Mentors and supports teammates that possess the opportunity for improvementGuest Engagement / Interaction- Review Guest profile and reservation notes on SevenRooms- Anticipate Guests needs by, but not limited to: offering coat check, bring in wine and desserts- Acknowledge Guest celebrations- Guest recognition, i.e. frequent Guests, wait-list Guests etc- Tailor communications with Guests in a relational manner rather than transactional- Execute proper seating protocol- Walking Pace- Hold menu with both hands in front of you at waist level- Pass menus left to right, starting with the ladies.- Place remaining menus at the edge of the table, not on place settings- G.R.O.W. - Guest Right Of Way- Warm transfer to service staff: communicate Guest information to the service team- Show, not tell, especially when leading Guests to areas of the restaurant: bar, restrooms, -concept tour- Organic table touches- Use open hands when guiding Guests- During the farewell, acknowledge Guest, anticipate Guests needs (have coat ready, offer to deliver valet ticket), hold the doorTechnical Proficiency- Alert Leader when the wait time is at five minutes, when tables are past their reservation times and when there are at-risk Guests- Support communication on specific reservation notes such as, but not limited to celebrations, first-time diners, frequent diners- Check cleanliness of menus before, during and after service- Complete frequent updates while being aware of the conceptSupport concept cleanliness- Make clear, concise notes when checking-in Guests and adding to the Guest profile- Adapt to Guest needs: table size, unexpected circumstances, tailored seating based on occasion and requests- Proficient with SevenRooms- Proficient with Uber Eats and correctly inputs Guests ordersLightbulb Mindset:- Seeks to continually improve, to master functions and knowledge; relishes new challenges; -embraces innovation; seizes opportunities to expand and sharpen personal/professional -skill set; possesses a growth mindset- Embraces the tremendous dignity and honor of serving and connecting with the individuals of our community as our meaningful purpose, and the mission of the team- Holds oneself, teammates, and leadership team to the highest level of accountabilityBenefits Include:World-class trainingGrowth opportunitiesFree health careFree parking or Free monthly bus passFree mental health resourcesEmployee assistance programFree life insurance50% off food at all M Street conceptsand much more!Core Qualifications- Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds- Must be able to work in a standing position for a long period of time- Some experience preferred; hospitality or customer service- Effective communicator- Collaborative mindset- Open and receptive to feedbackM Street Entertainment Group is committed to employing a diverse workforce.
