Job Description

We are seeking a Data Quality Lead for a direct hire role based out of Nashville, TN. This role can work hybrid or remotely and will be responsible for the quality of business data used in the new system environment, including data coming from legacy environments. This ERP program role provides a strong point of view on enterprise data standards and works to ensure local country data complies with those standards, error-free. The role ensures that data mapping is managed and completed in line with ERP program timelines and is properly checked and validated. This role is a key part of assessing what changes are needed within existing business processes in order to create improved data quality and to ensure those changes are made effectively. This is a brand new role with the opportunity to grow!

Additional responsibilities of thsi role include:

• Cross-functional responsibility and accountability for the quality of business data with business data owners
• Supports business owners of the data for the local country, and ensures that the maintenance of the local data is done according to defined standards
• Safeguards that the global solution fits the local data requirements
• Participates in local functional specifications delivery and data mapping
• Participates in data construction, data extraction, and manual conversions in accordance with global templates
• Identifies improvement areas for data quality and makes recommendations to business owners
• Ensures master data identification, quality, and cleansing on legacy systems is in accordance with project timelines
• Manages the validation, sign off extracts and converted data in test and deploy (authority and operational knowledge of data)
• Evaluates local process changes and restructuring data requests
• Develops and maintains the list of business data approvers (also known as Data Validation Network or DVN)
• Provides oversight into the DVN procedures created by functional teams and business subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure quality and completeness
• Provides training in validation and cleansing processes to business SMEs
• Leads and tracks progress on validation signoffs during Mock data load execution
• Assists in analyzing data cleansing with functional teams Qualifications
  • Large project management experience,
  • Clear communication (verbal and written)
  • Understanding of data quality and cleansing processes
  • Detail oriented Nice to have:
    • PowerBI and Tableau experience
      
      Additional Information
      
      These full-time/direct hire roles will be based out of Nashville, TN. This role can work a hybrid schedule of onsite and remote in the Nashville area or fully remote.
