Job Description:
Urgent Team is looking for an experienced HR Onboarding
Specialist to join our corporate office in Nashville, TN (Green
Hills). The ideal candidate will have at least one year of
high-volume HR/Onboarding experience, preferably in a healthcare
setting. To be successful in this role, candidates must have
excellent time management, organizational, and communication
skills. This position is the first HR point-of-contact for new Team
Members and the main HR liaison with hiring managers. This is an
office-based role, and candidates must live within a commutable
distance of Green Hills (37215). JOB SUMMARY: The HR Onboarding
Specialist is responsible for ensuring Urgent Team new hires
complete their pre-employment requirements before starting work.
Supporting candidates through the onboarding process. The HR
Onboarding Specialist will collaborate with Urgent Team recruiters,
HR Team and Managers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The
following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the
expectations of this position but are not intended to be
all-inclusive. Other duties may be assigned. --- Obtain all
appropriate pre-employment paperwork from new hires. --- Review
pre-employment background and drug screen checks for new hires.
Distribute additional review requirements as needed. --- Ensure all
I-9s and E-Verifies are completed timely by Management. ---
Responds in a timely and appropriate manner to new hire questions.
--- Work closely with Management to determine new hire start dates.
--- Responds in a timely and appropriate manner to Management
questions. --- Processes new hires in UKG once Management completes
I-9 and E-Verify --- Primary source verify licenses for licensed
new hires and include them in Provider Trust for ongoing
verification. --- Discreetly and confidentially handle sensitive
data --- Maintains personnel and medical files for active and
terminated individuals. --- Assists with special projects by
clarifying project objective; setting timetables and schedules;
conducting research; developing and organizing information;
fulfilling transactions. --- Complies with federal, state, and
local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation;
anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements;
advising management on needed actions. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
--- High school diploma or equivalent required --- 1 year Human
Resources experience preferred --- 1 year Healthcare experience
preferred --- Experience with UKG a plus --- Experience with
SmartSheets or Google Docs a plus --- Excel experience required Our
