Description:The Machine Operator will be responsible for machine quality and productivity as well as maintaining all equipment. The Machine Operator will also be responsible for training all new operators on machine procedures and checking part quality.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description - other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.Maintain Tensioner Machining Equipment including but not limited to tooling adjustment, presetting and preventative maintenanceTroubleshoot machine issuesMaintain quality of the partsCheck parts so that parts meet specificationsRead small quality testing equipment such as calipers, microscope, etc.Read blueprints of partsOther tasks, functions, and projects as assigned.Requirements:High school diploma. Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a machine operator/machining technician.Computer skills including Microsoft Office programs.Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
