commitments. Your Role As a HealthStreamer Position SummaryThe
Business Development Representative will assist us in our efforts
to generate interest, develop leads, and increase market share for
VerityStream. In conjunction with sales leadership, marketing and
product management, the Business Development Representative will be
responsible for generating, developing and qualifying new leads for
the sales organization through outbound marketing efforts
including; email campaigns, cold calling, social media, webinar
lead follow up, and website chat. The Business Development
Representative team will work together to achieve a target number
of qualified leads in a given year, set forth by sales leadership
and described in the Sales Incentive Plan. Essential Duties and
ResponsibilitiesSales lead development and qualification.Cold
calling/emailing and thorough follow up with internal and external
customers.Qualifying all leads gathered through outbound efforts
before transitioning lead to sales.Develop deep understanding of
VerityStreams solutions including target audience, value
proposition, and best practices for successful
implementation.Design and implement lead generation campaigns
within specific business lines and territories as assigned by sales
leadership.QualificationsWhat You Will Need to be
SuccessfulEducation, Experience and Knowledge Required: Earned or
in pursuit of bachelor's degree in related fieldInternship or
sales-related experience preferredHealthcare software experience
preferred.Previous Salesforce.com or other CRM experience
preferred.Cold calling and/or lead generation experience
preferred.Skills and Abilities Required:Good presentation
skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProfessional
with high level of integrity.Ability to travel 0-5% of the
time.Team player with customer services focus and positive
attitude.This position is primarily sedentary in a normal office
environment.Extensive computer and phone usage.Compensation$40,000
first year expected salary range (base salary plus commission and
