General Overview: The Copywriter is responsible for writing clean and on-voice content in print, OOH, point-of-sale, video, and digital marketing components. This position must be able to write copy that is on strategy and within deadline. Responsibilities and Duties Include (but aren't limited to):

• Work directly with Associate Creative Directors and Creative Director to develop content and messaging for marketing programs
• Collaborate with Art Directors and Designers to develop conceptual ideas that support established creative briefs and strategies
• Write copy that helps achieve business and communication objectives
• Research clients' products/services/brand images to ensure ability to write accurate, on-target copy/concepts for assigned projects
• Ensure all copy is checked and proofread at the draft and final stages of each project, allowing a "fresh set of eyes" to examine the work as needed
• Assist in writing proposals, marketing plans, publicity, etc., as requested
• Be a student of current trends and best practices across all advertising disciplines Organizational Structure: Creative Department Department Supervisor: Associate Creative Director, Copywriter Executive Supervisor: VP, Creative Director Requirements:
  • 4+ years copywriting experience at an agency or in-house creative department
  • Bachelor's degree in English, creative writing, communications, journalism, advertising, or marketing is preferred
  • Portfolio of writing sample
  • Motivated self-starter who is well organized, detail oriented and able to meet strict deadlines
  • Maintain an understanding of advertising trends, digital environment, and consumer touchpoints
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat PI201823842
