www.dollargeneral.com.Job DetailsGeneral Summary: As a Sr. Manager
of Measurement & Reporting, you will tell the story of DG Media
Network performance and results through analytics. You will engage
with Partnership Marketing (sales) and our Media/Buying teams to
deeply understand client needs and expectations. In addition, you
will be a member of the Measurement and Reporting team that
provides thought leadership, demonstrating DG s 1P audience value
delivers results for brands and partners through measurement,
reporting, and insights. The position can be remote. Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Data Scientist and Data Engineer to develop
comprehensive reporting and insights for Retail Media Network
client.
- Manage activation benchmarks and continually update the team on
trends impacting department/category and audience reach in the
changing digital landscape
- Work closely with Media Buying + Execution and Partnership
Marketing teams on day-to-day operational
responsibilities/activities, including:
- Understand what delivers campaign success by providing thought
leadership and recommendations through reporting and measurement
data.
- Drive and/or contribute to projects focused on refining process
for Measurement & Reporting and product enhancement/development as
needed.
- Define key metrics criteria for testing and make
recommendations based on performance analysis and consumer
insights
- Collect, clean and synthesize live test data and derive
campaign insights
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis by pulling data from multiple sources,
including historical performance, trends, and benchmarking.
- Provide thought leadership by presenting analytical findings
and insights to our clients, advertiser partners, agencies, and
internal leaders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Digital Product, IT,
Advertiser and Agency SMEs, and MarTech / AdTech vendor partners as
necessary.QualificationsKNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:
Familiarity with digital media,
general marketing principles and knowledge of key digital marketing
KPIs (iROAS, LTV, etc.).Knowledge of SQL, statistics and
proficiency in Excel and/or data visualization tools, e.g.,
Tableau. Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication
skills that translate to storytelling, persuasion and building
relationships with clients by turning insights into
actionsExceptionally organized self-starter who can dive into the
work and roll up their sleeves to solve business problems.Possess a
growth mindset.Work Experience and/or Education:
3-5 years experience with data and
delivering analysis, insights, reportingExperience in marketing
analytics fieldand/or digital marketing environmentsBachelor s
degree in Marketing, Economics, Statistics or a similar
