Overview Patient Coordinator - Customer Service Representative
Fully Remote, Illinois, U.S. 6-Month Contract, Potential for
Extension Pay Rate: $17 - $22/hr Benefits:

patient care side of healthcare? Our client, a global health
company, is seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative
(Patient Coordinator) who will work with patients who are enrolled
in a brand new, exclusive health program. On a daily basis, the
Customer Service Representative will contact patients who have
inquiries or concerns related to this program. This role is
facilitated through inbound and outbound phone calls and emails.
Individuals in this role should be natural problem-solvers with
excellent customer service skills and a focus on prompt, efficient,
and courteous service. They will identify the patient (customer)
needs, clarify information, research issues, and provide solutions
in a timely manner. This can include handling any customer issues,
questions, and account concerns.
All interactions must be documented and may also need to be entered
into a CRM system. Individual will be helping mostly elderly
patients with chronic diseases, who may have very little
familiarity with technology and monitoring devices. The right
person for the role will have considerable patience, understanding,
and a general sense of compassion and derive pride in helping the
most vulnerable population receive the best care possible.
RESPONSIBILITIES: --- Make outbound calls to patients to get them
up and running on the program and/or who may be experiencing issues
with the service and obtain feedback.--- Answer or make calls to
patients and accounts to learn about and address their needs,
complaints, or other issues with products or services.--- Respond
efficiently and accurately to callers, explaining possible
solutions, and ensuring that patients and accounts feel supported
and valued.--- Engage in active listening with callers, confirming
or clarifying information and diffusing angry clients, as
needed.--- Communicating and coordinating with the VitalSight team
and management any escalated issues or concerns.--- Adhere to all
company policies and procedures.--- Understanding of company
products, services, and policies. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND
--- High School Diploma or equivalent.--- Medical Assistant or CNA
certification preferred Experience:
--- Previous experience working with patients preferred.--- Ability
to perform with minimal supervision.--- Ability to stay calm when
customers are stressed or upset.--- Comfortable using computers and
office technology.--- Self-starter, able to work in a dynamic,
changing environment.--- Understanding of company products,
