Outpatient Breastfeeding Clinic accepts all patients in need but
focuses on the poor
services, workflow and resources for assigned nursing areas
antenatal services, high-risk antepartum, labor and delivery,
OB/GYN Emergency Room, post-partum, newborn nursery, OB surgery
center, outpatient breastfeeding clinic and NICU.
What You Will Need:
Develop departmental goals and objectives consistent with medical,
administrative, legal and ethical requirements of the health care
Direct clinical activities, including patient assessment, care plan
development, service level determination, patient visits, and
Plan, organize and direct all activities related to staffing,
including hiring, orienting, evaluating and continuing education
Prepare and monitor budget(s) and ensure that assigned nursing area
operates within allocated funds. Coordinate and direct internal and
Work in collaboration with physician leaders and hospital
executives on strategic and operational outcomes for the Women and
Children’s service line.
Licensure / Certification /
- One or more of the following required:
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of
Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license
recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited
school/college of nursing required. Master's degree or combination
of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.
- 5 years of experience required.
- 10 years of experience preferred.
- 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
- 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
