Job Description:

Position Overview: Responsible for all mechanical and integrated assemblies. This includes large and small mechanical structures that revolve around bearings, bushings, riveting, torqueing, rigging, grinding, tapping, drilling, and overall general maintenance. At times they will be requested to move structures and maybe required to work from ladders and scissor lifts. They are also required to help breakdown, pack, and crate assemblies that will be shipped out in a timely manner. Hours: Monday- Friday 08:00am - 5:00pm Pay Rate: $22 Hourly Essential Job Responsibilities: Work closely with mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure a testable product is being developed and delivered on time. Take initiative and ownership of projects that are distributed to you. Keep up and explore new improvements that could be implemented on future projects. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Persuasive deliveries in a timely manner. Document and reciprocate every mechanical idiosyncratic nuance. Qualifications: Two years of complex mechanical assembly experience such as robotics, engines, and industrial equipment. Technology or apprentice program or any combination of both education and experience that is applicable to the job. Ability to provide accurate estimates about workload and testing. Well understanding of a work and machine shop equipment machining, power tools, welding, fiberglass Fluency and confidence in SAE, Metric, and torque ratios standards. A full understanding and compliance of OSHA safety codes. Familiar of electrical/data routing and HMI systems is a plus. The ability to drive and operate forklifts and industrial aerial equipment is a plus. Able to lift 50lbs. Ability to stand and endure physical labor for long hours. Constantly curious about improvements. Has a very broad range of skills including: Machining, welding, fiberglass, carbon fiber, electrical, mold making, carpentry, 3D printing and CNC. Knowledge of Solidworks and vector-based software is a plus. Willing to hack and test solutions. Insatiable thirst for new technologies that improve upon additive manufacturing and mechanical design. High comfort level in self-reliance and navigating ambiguity. Extremely detailed oriented who scrutinizes all their work. Willingness to learn from and teach to others. Why Kelly -- ?
