SWC Account Executive - HealthcareReports to: Vice President
Sales Class: Full-Time,--Salaried Exempt + Commission, Full Benefit
PackagePrimary Role: Responsible for carrying out all company goals
and objectives, established by the Director of Healthcare Sales, as
it relates to this position. The Account Representative is
responsible for exceeding sales revenue goals, developing and
maintaining valued customer relationships, expanding the company's
current customer base, and developing and maintaining professional
selling skills. Sales territory will consist of acute care
facilities and ambulatory/clinic accounts.Responsibilities:1.
Responsible for selling integrated solutions to existing client
base while generating new business to expand current customer
base2. Providing timely and accurate response to customers'
required proposal and/or bid circumstance3. Responsible for writing
and submitting professional proposals4. Follows up on all sales
leads in a timely and effective manner5. Promotes Company and the
products and services that are offered6. Tracks and provides
accurate sales information to company management7. Provides
accurate, complete, and timely submittal of sales orders and job
notes to appropriate order processing and technical staff8. Makes
necessary sales presentations to customers and management as
requested9. Acquire and maintain sound knowledge of all product
lines and services offered10. Consistently work with management to
develop a competitive pricing structure11. Attend trade and
industry shows to promote Company 12. Research and obtain
information on position specific training opportunities 13. Exceed
all company sales goals and objectives as it relates to this
position14. Maintain current, detailed and accurate data in our
Salesforce.com CRM, providing an accurate sales forecast in
real-time15. Other duties as required or assigned by company
managementAccountability:The Account Executive will be accountable
to the Director of Healthcare Sales. Secondary accountability will
be to other management, team members and customers of the company.
Job Requirements:Qualifications:The Account Executive shall possess
a four-year degree from an accredited college or university with
emphasis in business, marketing or engineering or an equivalent
combination of education and experience in the field of sales or
service of electronics equipment. The Account Executive should
possess knowledge of customer relations, marketing and
communications, and sales process management. Should possess a
proven track record in selling. 3+ years experience in Healthcare
Capital Equipment Sales preferred. Preferred Sales Experience: To
hospital CNOs, CIOs, Technology Directors, Nursing Staff -
experience within area organizations a plus.Expertise in any or
all: Clinical Workflow, Communications, A/V, Technology, Software,
Integrated Solutions is highly desirable.Travel: It is expected
that this position will require a moderate to considerable amount
of travel to customer and vendor sites.Additional Skills and
Abilities:1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.2.
Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and
well-organized.3. Superior customer service skills to deal with
both internal and external customers.4. Ability to manage multiple
tasks simultaneously.5. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to
work with diverse groups.6. Proficiency in the use of personal
computers including such programs as MS Word, Excel, Access,
PowerPoint and Outlook.7. Ability to demonstrate planning,
organizing and implementing skills which allow the successful
completion of a project by a specific due date.8. Must be able to
effectively handle stressful situations.9. Must be able to read and
effectively interpret general business documentation. 10. Valid and
current driver's license.Physical, Mental and Environmental
Requirements:1. Employee is required to stand, walk, climb, sit and
use hands and fingers.2. Some lifting of objects up to fifty pounds
is required.3. Reaching, grasping and carrying activities also
required.4. The noise level in the work environment is usually
moderate.5. Although most work is performed inside, occasional
outside activities are subject to seasonal temperature
fluctuations.Management has the right to revise this description at
