We are looking for a Regional Vice President Ag Lending (RVP) to leads the customer experience/relationship, sales delivery and credit function for agricultural lending in East Tennessee. The RVP leads and coaches Financial Officers to provide an exceptional customer experience through the delivery of financial services, consistent with regional, state and Association goals. Responsible for maximizing market potential and providing the strategic direction of the assigned agricultural retail region and the associated portfolio.. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 75% of the time in assigned territory, with 20-40% of the time including overnight travel.. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:. Regional Vice Presidents LEAD others and leaders by:. * Providing strategic leadership for the overall customer experience/relationship, sales delivery and credit function for the assigned agricultural region.. * Leading the region’s business development plan, including marketplace analysis and marketing plans.. * Understanding and engaging in the development of the local marketplace from an advocacy and growth perspective.. * Aligning regional goals and resultsto state and association goals as measured by sales numbers, credit quality, credit administration, effective servicing and financial results.. * Achieving results by leading others of their team, as well as influencing and collaborating with team members in other areas of the organization. * Leading the credit philosophy in the assigned region, including developing Financial Officer credit skills and participating in consensus underwriting as needed and as defined.. * Granting authorities and reviewing loans per the peer review loan process. * Setting performance and operational standards, objectives and annual budget. * Exercising management authority in performance reviews, pay decisions, recruitment, discipline, and other employment decisions developing skills, coaching, retention and making salary adjustments of others.. * Conducting joint sales calls and credit administration reviews in Agrilytic and using findings to coach and develop sales team members and/or provide meaningful feedback to Directors of Retail Operations.. * Modeling organizational values, inspiring a shared vision and holding their teams accountable for culture preservation and growth. Regional Vice Presidents ADAPT by:. * Adjusting and executingbusiness plans and contributing to the development of strategies in order to meet state and Association objectives. * Developing departmental plans, budgets and priorities that support the needs and goals of the next 5 years in area of responsibility. * Applying acquired expertise to analyze and solve problems without clear precedent. * Remains up-to-date and knowledgeable of industry trends and innovations to determine the potential value to the association.. Regional Vice Presidents CONNECT by:. * Coordinating with cross-functional leaders to make recommendations or solve problems. Providing technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers. * Maintains external relationships, manages productiverelationships, and participates in industry organizations to gain knowledge, share information, and enhance the association’s image.. * Participates in association teams to contribute to association strategy and projects.. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:. Bachelor's Degree in business, agriculture or related field. Six years of progressively responsible sales/credit experience, one to two of which have been in a leadership role or having demonstrated leadership capabilities.
