Job Description:
Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), a celebrated global nonprofit
organization committed to humanitarian aid and sustainable
development, is seeking a dedicated Print Engineer to join our
Printing Media department. This role focuses on developing,
optimizing, and maintaining our printing processes to support
various MCC projects worldwide. The Print Engineer will be
instrumental in ensuring high quality, cost-effective printing
solutions that align with MCCs mission of relief, development, and
peace initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of
technical expertise and a passion for humanitarian efforts, capable
of translating complex printing needs into tangible products that
impact lives. Design, test, and implement efficient printing
processes for various media. Collaborate with cross-functional
teams to determine printing requirements and ensure alignment with
project goals. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to print
quality and machine functioning. Keep abreast of the latest
industry technologies and integrate sustainable, cost-effective
solutions. Manage supply inventory and negotiate with vendors to
meet budgetary constraints. Ensure compliance with safety and
environmental regulations. Proficiency in CAD software and Adobe
Creative Suite. Strong understanding of color theory and graphic
design principles. Expertise in digital and offset printing
processes. Ability to manage projects and coordinate with various
teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
