Job Description:
Waste Connections is seeking an experienced Trucking Operations
Supervisor to oversee and ensure the efficiency of our
transportation operations within our waste management services.
This role is pivotal in maintaining the efficacy and compliance of
our daily transport activities, directly contributing to our
mission of providing superior waste management services to our
residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Supervise daily
trucking operations to ensure compliance with regulatory and
company standards. Manage scheduling, dispatching, and routing of
waste collection vehicles to optimize routes and improve service
delivery. Train, guide, and evaluate trucking personnel to enhance
their performance and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Oversee
maintenance and repair of vehicles to minimize downtime and
maintain safety. Implement strategic plans to improve operational
efficiency and reduce costs. Maintain accurate records of
operations, including compliance reports and employee performance
data. Coordinate with other departments to resolve operational
issues and improve service delivery. Strong leadership and team
management skills Excellent organizational and strategic planning
abilities Proficiency in logistics and fleet management software
Knowledge of compliance regulations in waste management and
transportation Ability to resolve conflicts and handle stressful

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred
