We are looking for a Staff Software Validation Engineer to join our
Trusted and Security Products Engineering team. This is a career
defining role which will contribute directly to Intel's
transformation through strategic software contributions. You will
be part of our core validation team under quality engineering
developing validation strategies, testing, and contributing towards
delivering high-quality secure software for our customers. If you

Responsibilities:
Designs software validation strategies, develops tools and
methodologies to validate Intel software product features spanning
various deployment environments (on-prem, cloud, hybrid) and
solutions (SaaS).
Designs and develops automation tests using Python framework.
Contributes towards enhancing automation frameworks and tools.
Works closely with cross functional leads and ensures functional
and system testing plans are developed following risk-based
approach.
Focuses on 100 percent automation strategy, where all tests are
automated with stability prior to running them.
Leverages latest technologies like ML and Gen AI in day-to-day work
increasing developer productivity.
Possesses continuous innovation and improvements mindset driving
team's technical growth.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer
Engineering or Computer Science and 8+ years of experience -OR- a
Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer
Science and 6+ years of experience -OR- a PhD in
Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 2+ year of
experience in
5+ years of experience in building and enhancing test automation
frameworks.
5 + years developing comprehensive Functional and nonfunctional
test plans and test cases.
3+ years expertise in Python programming.
3+ years with SaaS and Cloud based products.
3+ years public clouds, IaaS, PaaS and Kubernetes.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with ML and Gen AI LLMs.
Experience in key security concepts like cryptography, data
encryption, key/certificate management, identity, and access
management.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to
interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Fast learner, having a growth mindset, ability to deal with
ambiguous situations and possessing continuous innovation
skills.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado, New York, Washington, California:
$144,501.00-$217,311.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location
and experience
Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would
require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on
business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work
model which allows employees to split their time between working
on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain
circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business
needs.
