Location: Report from home - Nashville, TN
Shift: Dayshift
Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 Base Salary + Sign on bonus

Travel: This is a high-travel field service role. Up to 80%.
Position Description: The company's primary goal is to support its
customers and their testing objectives. In pursuit of this goal,
the company offers state-of-the-art test machines, industry-leading
measurement and control software, and complete solutions that
enhance overall testing efficiency. They support applications
across numerous markets with a wide range of capabilities, grips,
fixtures, and unique tooling that can be tailored to meet specific
testing requirements.
As Field Service Engineer you will report directly to the Service
Manager and provide technical support for material testing
machines. This position directly interfaces with customers
involving installation, service, and repair of simple and
specialized systems. Examples include but are not limited to:
Automation, Robotest systems, Programming Auto Edition, Dropweight
towers, Complex Medical equipment i.e., Catheter systems,
Auto-Injectors, Torsion systems, and Temperature Chambers. - The
Field Service Engineer will calibrate equipment to relevant
standards and procedures, use and train all current test methods
and evaluate the result of the reasonableness test. The Field
Service Engineer will provide customer training of operation and
software of company machines. Project management is a daily task,
as is providing leadership on relocation jobs and large
installations. The Field Service Engineer will prepare written
reports of calibration results according to ISO/IEC 17025 and
troubleshoot electronic & electromechanical devices from schematics
and mechanical drawings.
Requirements/ Relevant Experience:
Skilled technicians with formal technical training and 4+ years of
technical experience as requested.
Military backgrounds in electronics, electrical maintenance, and/or
mechanical component repair are all great skill sets and
backgrounds that translate successfully to these roles. -
Experience in technical metrology or prior calibration experience
is preferred. Experience with universal destructive testing
machines and extensometers is also preferred but not required.
