• Primary focus on implementation and support of a Linux systems and application stacks that run upon Linux.
• Linux deployment, orchestration, monitoring and support.
• Kubernetes infrastructure deployment, support and orchestration supporting Zywave SaaS development and application deployment.
• Elastic stack infrastructure deployment and management supporting Zywave SaaS development and application deployment.
• Integration with Storage Area Networks, including replication and backup functions.
• Design, implement and maintain automated procedures to manage Zywave systems using scripting technologies.
• Participate in the design, implementation and integration of a wide range of Cloud and hybrid cloud technologies including Azure and Amazon based IaaS and PaaS offerings.
• Improve business processes in coordination with internal Zywave stakeholders; working closely with Zywave Product and Development.
• Innovate IT processes while continually adopting new technology for a fast-paced software-as-a-service company.
• Analyze, diagnose and troubleshoot problems in Zywave systems. Coordinate maintenance with the appropriate support provider or vendor.
• Design and upgrade solutions based on enterprise concepts including disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Document process and procedures as well as troubleshooting techniques to aid in the retention and dissemination of knowledge.
• Provide off-hours support, as needed, to support product updates, equipment upgrades, and address technical issues.What you should bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science plus at least 3 years of systems design/implementation experience or equivalent combination of education and technical experience.
  • Fundamental understanding and extensive history of Linux Systems administration at enterprise scale.
  • Familiarity with Apache, Java, PHP and Python application management.
  • Experience with container networking on Docker or Kubernetes Container Networking Interface (CNI). Experience with Calico container networking is a plus.
  • Experience with container volumes on Docker or Kubernetes Container Storage Interface (CSI).
  • Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch is a plus.
  • CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administration) Certification is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to understand and design how different system layers (Application, Container, network and infrastructure) work together and interact.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain productive in an exciting service-driven and results-oriented environment.
