Overview POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for identifying, recruiting the human capital needed to support current and future business activities. Responsibilities includes developing, implementing and evaluating programs?in compliance with equal employment opportunity laws and regulations?for sourcing, recruiting, and hiring talent. It also includes matters that focus on careers, communications, technology, metrics and outsourcing in the staffing management field, as well as effective staffing management practices. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develops recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels. * Meets with managers to develop specific recruiting plans. * Responsible for interviewing, testing, and referring applicants for all positions throughout the Company. * Provides information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants. Screens and refers qualified applicants to hiring manager for interviewing. May provide initial screening for manager to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, salary requirements. * Directs the efforts of employment agencies and search firms including negotiating and controlling employment related fees. * Researches, analyzes, prepares and presents hiring statistics to management. * Corresponds with job applicants to notify them of opportunities. * Maintains records on recruiting activities as required. * Participates in development of annual recruiting budget. * Preparation and liaison with job boards, colleges and universities, advertising agencies, and other talent sources * Completion for reporting on recruiting metrics * Facilitates onboarding and new employee orientation * Complete special projects as assigned * Regular and reliable attendance required Qualifications KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required: * Adept at establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal colleagues and external contacts. * Excellent oral and written communications skills and strong facilitation skills required. * Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects or assignments and ability to work within given timelines for designated projects or assignments. * This position requires an extremely perceptive person, who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels. As unique situations present themselves, the incumbent must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the public image. * Considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions in the Company, a basic understanding of the Company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices. Education/Experience: Bachelors' degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of five (5) years of related experience required. Experience in IT recruiting preferred. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and percentages. Language Skills: Ability to understand, read, write and speak English. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to successfully write business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions and professionally interact with managers, employees, clients, vendors and the general public. Reasoning Ability: Ability to recognize and define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and correct errors. Ability to understand and interpret basic financial data. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in a variety of forms and deal with abstract and concrete variables. Other Qualifications: Must be able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently while maintaining a professional, courteous manner. Must be able to work well with others. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Must be detail oriented and organized. High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information. Must be able to exercise good judgment and positively influence and lead others, including handling confrontations with poise and efficiency. Based on business need, the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends as approved in advance.
