    We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Director of Clinical Compensation!
    Responsibilities
    Responsible for the overall design, implementation, communication, and administration of the clinical compensation program for assigned book of business. This position ensures that the total compensation program (base pay, premium pay, variable based comp, and other incentive programs) supports the Company's ability to attract, reward, and retain top talent through best in class compensation, ensures compliance, and supports the Company's overall strategic objectives. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks including leading and influencing the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Design, recommend, and implement compensation programs as well as identify the cost impact
    • Collect and analyze experience data from available resources. Identify trends as well as areas of concern
    • Evaluate and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency
    • Document and maintain administrative procedures for compensation processes
    • Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations, FLSA, etc.
    • Provide customer service support to internal and external customers
    • Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of the company's clinical compensation policies and total compensation package
    • Provides direction and modeling on clinical bonus and incentive programs
    • Ensures that the compensation program supports the Company's strategic objectives
    • Review and analyze current compensation plans and structure and establish best practices
    • Collaborate with operations and other stakeholders to develop appropriate proposed rates and compensation strategy for RFP pricing and acquisitions
    • Develop, implement, and maintain incentive and variable based compensation models
    • Establish and lead multidisciplinary compensation review group for proactive data driven rate review to include performing and evaluating compensation surveys
    • Perform market analysis and provide recommendations for market adjustments, compensation structure changes, wage ranges, and annual merit increases
    • Perform ad hoc analysis and review to support operational decisions as it relates to hire rates, employee/ IC conversions, analysis of different resource costs, etc.
    • Initiate and lead tactical work streams in support of identified opportunities
    • Prepare analysis of compensation spend and equip Operations leaders to "tell the story" for monthly operating reviews
    • Partner and collaborate with support functions including recruiting, scheduling, credentialing, contracting, contingent labor deployment, human resources, and others on the execution of a comprehensive and aligned workforce optimization strategy
    • Serve as subject matter expert for workforce systems and process implementations and enhancements
    • Support the development, modeling, and maintenance of a comprehensive compensation strategy that contemplates appropriate rates and compensation structure that leads to optimal staffing volume and drives results

      Qualifications
      Education/Licensing/Certification: Bachelor's Degree required with a preference for degrees in Finance, Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
      Experience: Minimum of 10 years' compensation experience required. Minimum of 5 years in the healthcare industry required.
      Knowledge and Skills:

      • Solid technical and analytical ability using spreadsheet, database and ERP systems and software required
      • Highly proficient mathematical skills
      • Advanced expertise in Excel and financial and data reporting software
      • Highly analytical and detail-oriented
      • Exceptional problem-solving skills with experience demonstrating independent, creative thinking, and root cause analysis
      • Ability to simplify complex multi-level data analysis into concise and easy to understand summaries for management review
      • Effective communication and presentation skills working with peers and various levels of management, including Executive Leadership
      • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required to build professional relationships across the organization
      • Proven ability to effectively manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines within a fast-paced, and dynamic environment
      • Ability to work in a decentralized, matrixed environment
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
      • High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information
      • Ability to recognize and define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and correct errors
      • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in a variety of forms and deal with abstract and concrete variables
