Our Operational services include Concierge, Valet, Shuttle, Patient Sitters, CNAs, Environmental Services, and Site Managers.Position Overview:As the Human Resources Specialist, you are responsible for owning and ensuring the accuracy of all administrative aspects of critical HR processes; this role partners directly with the Human Resources Assistant to ensure that all processes and procedures are being maintained and executed appropriatelyLocation and Compensation:Corporate Office, Brentwood, TN40 hours per week / $55,000 annual salary Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure all employees are informed on all policies and procedures related to HR mattersSupports all internal and external HR related inquiries and requests including but not limited to: Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Government Compliance, Legal, and Talent ManagementProcesses the Weekly/Bi-Weekly Payroll while quickly and effectively resolving Payroll errorsResolves/addresses all inquiries from tax agencies and the payroll company on matters related to quarterly payroll tax filingsProcesses government reports, to include the EEO-1, VETS 4212 reportsPrepares necessary data/reports for the quarterly WOTC filing and other ad hoc requestsMaintain the workers compensation program, as well as the medical treatment facility listManage Federal and State labor requirements based on employee work locations; to include labor tax requirementsManages the "Ask here..." question/response database in the Human Resources databaseFollows up on the completion of Compensation and Benefit Paperwork and DocumentationMaintains Human Resources records and Employee files and ensures the integrity and accuracy of Employee data for both business and regulatory purposesAssists with Employee Performance Management procedures, facilitates employee terminations and Exit InterviewsCoordinates Training Sessions, schedules Meetings, and HR eventsAssists with Candidate Interviews and the execution of New Hire Orientations - supports the overall mission of employee recruitmentCoordinates, monitors, assists, and responds to Unemployment Claims by collecting and distributing appropriate information and documentation as neededDocuments Human Resources actions by timely and accurately completing forms, reports, logs, and recordsAssists the Director of Operations as needed to accomplish Department and Company goalsAdditional duties as requiredSpecific Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field and 2-3 years' experience as a Human Resources Coordinator or Assistant OR a combination of applicable Education and experience requiredFull understanding of HR functions and best practices, exposure to Labor Law and Employment Equity Regulations and experience with Payroll systems and best practicesHighly computer literate with capability in Outlook, MS Office Suite and HR related business and communication toolsSuperior verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively present information at multiple levels is requiredAbility to engage and communicate professionally and effectively with all site management teams, cross functional teams and Senior LeadershipThrives in a fast paced, ever-changing environment and has the ability to strategically problem solve when faced with ambiguity
