span.Manufacturing at ABB ranges from assembly of customized
industrial robots to advanced production of electrical switches and
breakers. The innovative products we make, drive the world's

consumers, and automate complex industrial processes. The role
reports to the Production Manager and is located in Portland,
Tennessee. Your responsibilities
- Visual quality inspections.
- Place product in box with appropriate count in each box.
- Label product and boxes.
- Tape boxes.
- Lift and carry boxes.
- Monitor equipment operation.
- Assist in training of new employees.
- Maintain work area in clean and orderly fashion - 5S.
- Follow standardized work instructions.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing efforts.
- Participate in Kaizen events.
- Cover other positions following appropriate training as needed.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Minimum six months or less similar or related work
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would
permit them to work for ABB in the US.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated
instructions; write identifying information; request parts or
supplies verbally or in writing.
