Catering and Event Coordinator(Local Hospitality Group) Nashville, TNSalary$70,000 Job TypeFull-timeBenefitsHealth insurance and 10 PTO/personal after 90 daysKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and design internal catering as well as assist in off property food and beverage. Have a self effective way to track, juggle and give updates on multiple upcoming events.Ability to follow up on given jobs in a timely manner to ensure we do not lose out on an opportunity.Oversee outside vendors and d--cor suppliers.Ability to create a budget, set goals and price events.Develop new accounts, maintain existing accounts, and implement catering strategies to achieve catering revenue goals and maximize profits for our restaurants.Direct the day-to-day activities of the catering team. Create a system to track cost and revenue and show profit toward meeting revenue goals.Manage employee relations encompassing staff recruitment and performance evaluations and payrollResolve any settlement discrepancies in a timely manner. Required Skills & AbilitiesMust have 5 years experience in operational and/or combination of event/catering salesGeneral P&L knowledgeMust have knowledge and ability to price out menus, equipment and laborMust have clean driving record and ability to rent vehicles when neededMust have ABC card and be fluid in bartending as well as food production
