We are venture funded and growing rapidly in the explosive $100+ billion dollar STR industry.What we are looking for...A Sr. Guest Services Associate is the face of AvantStay and our boots on the ground at our luxury hotels. This is one of the most versatile roles at the company and perfect for anyone who loves being on the go and finds fulfillment in serving our guests. While the hotel manager is ultimately responsible for the asset and guest management of the hotel, the Senior Guest Services Associate is the weekend and after-hours lead of the property. They are a detail-oriented individual who thrives in problem-solving guest issues and satisfying guest requests throughout the day. This person will work onsite at our hotels responding to guest issues, ensuring quality output by our housekeeping and maintenance teams, and also performing inspections or light housekeeping duties between guest stays.What you'll do...A self-starter with a positive attitude, who has the ability to work effectively both in a team environment as well as independently.Conduct inspections of hotel rooms to ensure cleanliness and everything is up to brand standard.Comfortable working in a startup environment with empowerment to make decisions that enhance the guest experience.Not afraid to lift, move, unpack and do the more "unglamorous" sides of onboarding/organization of properties.Strong organizational and communication skills.Review/audit property administrative and maintenance areas to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.Respond to day-to-day guest requests, issues, and other outreach using the AvantStay Guest-First principles.Guide guests through the AvantStay experience, ensuring they have an amazing first impressionTroubleshoot minor maintenance and technology issues (e.g., upholstery stain removal, light bulb replacements, access to units, wifi connectivity or overseeing contractor appointments)Perform housekeeping quality audits and inventory checks in our units to ensure that hospitality standards are met consistently and robust feedback to our vendors is relayed in a timely fashionAssist with inventory duties such as preparing turnover kits, receiving deliveries, and tracking linen/consumables useMaintenance and organization of gathering spaces including office, lobby, gym, and others, as assignedTravel to multiple AvantStay properties throughout the local market, as requiredWhat you'll bring...3+ years experience in luxury hotel operationsBachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or another related field"Guest First" attitude towards hospitality including an insatiable need to create great experiencesA broad range of technology experience including different property management systemsExcellent communication skills - ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholdersDesire to become deeply knowledgeable about a varied group of subjects pertaining to STR housekeepingMust be US based and willing to work some weekends and some evenings full time.Strong analytical, strategic, and collaborative skills.Comfortable working in a very fast-paced environment.A perfectionist, attentive to all the details.Focused, hard-working, and willing to do what it takes for us to reach the next stage.Experience in real estate, hospitality, and/or tech is a plus.Ability to understand and convey both business issues and technical conceptsAbility to work independently and within a team environmentCapable of quickly learning new software systemsAbility to demonstrate a high level of understanding regarding short-term rental and hospitality industriesPerks and Benefits...Pay rate: $20 .00/hr DOE Benefits and Unlimited Paid Time OffTeam bonding and off-site eventsComplimentary and discount stays at AvantStay propertiesDog-friendly officeWhen you join AvantStay...
