Family Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

Kentucky

A healthcare organization in Kentucky is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for locum coverage.

Compensation:

$110/hr

Position Details

Monday Friday
8:00 AM 5:00 PM
One-hour lunch break included
Start Date: June 2, 2026 or as soon as credentialed
Assignment Duration: Month-to-month with option to extend
Practice Setting
70% Telehealth
30% Home Health visits
Home visits scheduled within a 30-mile radius of the provider s address
Clinical Responsibilities
Perform annual risk assessments
Conduct chronic condition reviews
Assessment-only role
Escalate urgent findings to the patient s primary care provider
No treatment management or prescribing responsibilities required
Patient Volume
Telehealth schedule: Approximately patients per day
Due to cancellations, providers typically complete:
6 7 telehealth visits daily
6 7 in-home visits daily
Approximately 10 patients daily in mixed schedules

Practice Environment
Equipment provided and shipped directly to the provider
Schedules released 2 3 weeks in advance
Paid full-day coverage regardless of patient volume when availability is entered appropriately
Orientation and ongoing education completed during working hours as needed
Requirements
Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Active Kentucky license required
Must be comfortable seeing both pediatric and adult patients
Must be enrolled/credentialed with Medicare
Additional Information
Orientation hours are billable
Approximately 1 3 hours of paid orientation provided
