Job Description:

Williamson Health and Wellness Center is seeking a qualified X-ray Technician to join our team. Located in the heart of Williamson, WV, our center is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare with a focus on innovative care and tailored wellness programs. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using X-rays. You will work closely with radiologists to produce X-ray films of the human body for use in diagnosing medical problems such as cancer, fractures, and other diseases. Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and protect them from excess radiation exposure Position the imaging equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance Explain procedures to patients and answer their questions regarding the process Maintain radiology supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing orders, and verifying receipt Keep detailed records of procedures performed and adhere to strict compliance with health and safety regulations Proficient in the use of X-ray imaging technology Ability to explain procedures clearly to patients Excellent attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills Ability to maintain patient confidentiality Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certified and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Valid radiology technician license
