Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered
Nurse Oncology Float to join our faith-based healthcare
organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to work
across multiple oncology units, providing vital patient care and
supporting our mission of innovation and personalized service. As
an Oncology Float Nurse, you will play a critical role in managing
patient care in a variety of settings, adapting quickly to
different clinical teams while upholding the highest standards of
care. Provide direct nursing care in a diverse oncology
environment. Administer medications, manage pain, and assist with
symptom management. Educate patients and their families on disease
processes, treatment, and self-care. Monitor patient status and
report changes to healthcare team. Support various oncology units
by adapting to the specific needs and protocols of each. Strong
clinical skills in oncology nursing Ability to adapt to various
clinical environments Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Proficient in EMR systems and tech-savvy Expertise in IV
administration and chemotherapy protocols Medical Insurance Dental

Nurse (RN) license ONC (Certified Oncology Nurse) preferred
