Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Perfusionist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/27/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: /n Perfusionist - Perfusionist /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 4 ten-hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday /n• On-call coverage required every 3rd weekend /n• Minimum 5 years of perfusion experience required with 1 year recent experience in Level 3 Trauma facility /n• Pediatric experience strongly preferred but not required /n• Prior travel experience preferred but not required /n• Must be able to operate point-of-care (POC) devices /n• High school diploma or college degree required for CAPS certification /n• Required certifications: BLS, ABCP (American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion) /n• Tennessee Clinical Perfusionist License required /n• Work with pediatric congenital heart patients ages 0-21 years /n• No ECMO procedures, occasional VAD procedures including pedimag/centrimag, heartmate III and berlin /n• Operate equipment including Spectrum HLM, Hepcon HMS, Frensenius CATS Cell Saver, Hemochron Jr. ACT, CardioQuip Heater Coolers /n• Work with VADs: Centrimag/Pedimag, Heartmate III, Berlin /n• Float requirements: No /n• Complete COVID vaccine series or valid exemption required by start date /n/n Facility: /n This premier children's hospital specializes in pediatric cardiac care and operates using an N1 perfusion model.
