Details - Night shift position, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM - 23-bed Med/Surg unit (7A) - Patients include adults aged 18 with acute medical/surgical conditions requiring observation or inpatient care - Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 - Staffing team includes RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and Nurse Interns; the RN holds full responsibility for their patient team - 13-week contract Requirements - Active TN or compact RN license required - Minimum 1 year of RN experience required - Current BLS certification (AHA) required - Current ACLS certification (AHA) required - NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required (Group A updated yearly; Groups B–F updated every 2 years) - Must successfully complete a proctored rhythm test - Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address - Two professional references required for consideration - Copy of Driver's License required for consideration - Skills checklist required for consideration Additional Information - RN assumes full clinical responsibility for all patients on their assigned team - Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility - COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position American Traveler Job ID P-684883.
