Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Acute Care
Neuro Spine Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare
professionals. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing
exceptional care and support to patients with neuro-spinal injuries
and conditions. Situated across nearly 2,000 sites of care,
including state-of-the-art hospitals and surgery centers, HCA
Healthcare empowers its staff with advanced technology and
resources to achieve excellence in patient outcomes. As part of our
team, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to
administer and monitor patient health, promote patient recovery,
and ensure the highest standards of safety and care are met.
Evaluate and monitor the patient's progress. Identify sudden or
subtle changes in a patient's medical condition. Deliver regular
updates to doctors, patients, and their family members. Begin
treatment and monitor doses. If necessary, respond to a medical
emergency and alert the appropriate doctors. Care for patient needs
throughout their recovery in the ICU. Administer medications and
intravenous fluids to patients. Perform physical assessments of
patients, including episodic and emergency assessments. Strong
clinical skills in a hospital setting Excellent organizational and
critical thinking skills Proficiency in managing multiple
priorities simultaneously Ability to work collaboratively in teams
Effective communication skills Strong empathy and resilience in
high-pressure situations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license BLS/ACLS
certification preferred Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse
(CNRN) credential is a plus
