Job Description:
Ascension, a leading faith-based healthcare organization, is
seeking a dedicated and experienced RN-Clinical Lead for our
Observation/Medical-Surgical unit to join our team. This role is
pivotal in providing compassionate, innovative care by overseeing
the daily operations of patient care services within the unit.
You'll work in an environment driven by respect and a desire to
positively transform lives, utilizing state-of-the-art technology
and evidence-based practices. Manage and oversee the nursing staff
and daily activities of the Observation/Med-Surg unit to ensure
compliance with established standards of care. Act as a key liaison
between healthcare providers, patients, and their families,
ensuring communication is open and effective. Monitor patient care
for quality, collaborating with the healthcare team to adjust
treatments as necessary. Provide direct patient care when needed,
assessing conditions and implementing appropriate intervention.
Develop and implement policies and procedures that improve service
delivery and workflow, advocating for resources necessary to ensure
quality patient outcomes. Participate in the recruitment, training,
and mentoring of new staff, promoting a culture of learning and
excellence. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in using
healthcare software and systems Ability to manage multiple
priorities in a high-stress environment Knowledgeable in
evidence-based practices pertaining to observation and
medical-surgical care Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life
Support (ACLS) preferred Certified Medical-Surgical Registered
Nurse (CMSRN) certification beneficial
