Job Description:
Join Ascension as a Registered Nurse specializing in
postoperative care for spine surgery, where you'll be part of a

patient-centric strategies. Provide high-quality nursing care for
patients following spine surgery. Monitor patient progress and
respond to any postoperative complications. Administer medications
as prescribed and monitor reactions or side effects. Record
patients’ medical history and symptoms, manage therapeutic
treatments, and communicate necessary patient information to the
relevant healthcare team. Educate patients and their families on
post-surgery care and lifestyle adjustments. Maintain a sterile
environment to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.
Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Strong clinical
skills in postoperative care and pain management, Ability to
perform under stress in fast-paced environments, Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid registration
as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the applicable state, Basic Life
Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
preferred.
