Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled PACU Nurse to
join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art facilities. As a PACU
Nurse, you will play a critical role in our post-anesthesia care
unit, providing attentive and comprehensive care to patients
recovering from anesthesia. The ideal candidate will be adept at
monitoring patients for complications, administering necessary
medications, and ensuring the safety and comfort of all patients
during the recovery phase. This position requires a compassionate
approach to patient care, strict adherence to healthcare protocols,
and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Monitor patient
vital signs and assess levels of consciousness after operations.
Provide care and medications as prescribed by the attending
physician. Educate patients and their families on post-procedure
care and potential complications. Maintain accurate patient records
and document patient status and recovery progress. Collaborate with
surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals to
ensure comprehensive care. Strong analytical and decision-making
skills. Proficiency in using medical software and patient
management systems. Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills. Capability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.

401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
practice. Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) certification
preferred.
